Welcome to Indian Institute of Logistics (IIL) Pioneers in Logistics and Shipping Education Since its establishment in 2007, Indian Institute of Logistics (IIL) has been a trailblazer in providing specialized, hands-on education in logistics and shipping. As the first logistics school in India, IIL has led the way in empowering students to excel, achieve, and evolve into global leaders equipped to tackle future challenges.
IIL was founded by Adv. (Capt.) V.J. Pushpakumar in 2007. With decades of experience in the shipping industry, Capt. Pushpakumar envisioned an institution that blends academic rigor with industry relevance.
His mission was to create specialized, industry-focused programs that offer students a clear advantage over traditional management degrees. Today, his vision has shaped IIL into a hub for future leaders in logistics and shipping.
